Went to a They Might Be Giants show tonight. It was a free "kids" show in Albany. It was actually pretty disappointing. It was super overly-crowded and they only played SEVEN songs! Something about the crowd just wasn't cool either. Maybe it is cuz I have seen them about 15 times total, and the thrill of live music has worn off. Maybe a need a break from shows, or to go see more bands that I don't usually see.
Its odd though, I've gotten older, and the fans at the shows seem to always be in the same age group. I must be some fucked-up Peter Pan or something. Damn, knew I shoulda kept those green tights!
