Friday afternoon: road trip to St. George, UT with my honey for nephew's baptism on Saturday. Arrived 2 in the morning. Food, fun, and faith. My very first time to witness an LDS (latter day saints) baptism. Back home Sunday night.

I need to see Closer. And the new Howie Hughes movie.

I am going back to grad school in the spring after a year of academic hiatus. I'll try not to worry about the cost of accruing more student debt. I need employment which limits human contact, and my graduate course of study will eventually lead to a work position of scant human interaction. I abhor dealing with other folks' crap. My own is enough. After one nursing class this semester I know that I do not want to be a nurse. My mom wants me to be a nurse and she talked me into taking this class. I gave it a try. I like humanity, but I don't like most people, and I especially won't take their bloody shit, and won't clean it either.

Just had apple pie with ice cream. oink

Very happy that you like my photos. I'm still learning this whole photography thing, and hoping to get a lot better at it, but it makes me feel good that you like them. *Zork blushes...* wink

Best of luck with school in the spring. I'm very tired of school myself... been here much too long. But I'm like you (in this one respect at least)... I need a job where I don't have to deal with people too much... and programming seems to fit the bill.

It's the same old theory-versus-practice problem, in a new guise: in theory, I like people just fine... in practice, I need a little buffer zone!

Cheers, and best wishes... - Zork(e)

Hey, you're alive!

I really want to see Closer too, if only because Natalie Portman will be really hot in it.

I will probably return to school in the fall for the same reason. Right now all my options involve customer interaction. But if I go on in math I can end up in a little anti-social hole somewhere getting paid to think. If I'm lucky.
