Is it possible to delete entries? And how do you do the uhm...link cut where you've got a link hiding whatever is behind it whether it's some long ass entry or a bunch of pictures that would otherwise take up a lot of screen space.
I'm still here, I haven't been making many entries mostly cause school is stressin me out. Only a week and a half left though! And then I'll be a happy lady for a whole month without classes or homework.
And even better, I'll have time to get a set together to send in to SG! Yay! I finally got a hold of tmronin the NY... Read More
You probably won't believe this, but i know her...a good friend of mine was her roommate out in LA up until 4 weeks ago when he moved to Chicago. She's the one that got me on the site, when I was there in August and he introduced me to her. I also ran into her a month ago on the Lower East Side cause she knows a few friends of mine that i met thru that same friend. She comes out to visit often. I was wondering when her set would go up...I didn't realize it would be so long after she shot it.
Jesus, I'm always writing papers this semester. I have only 2 weeks left though which is fantastic but also lame at the same time. It's lame because I don't have that much time to do further research for my final paper and tack on 7 more pages to it to make it complete. So there's that as well as the other paper I should be... Sometimes people work better under pressure. Me...I just curl up into a trembling, sobbing, mess in the corner of my room and rock back and forth until I pass out.
Wow. So my best friend bought me a brand new digital camera. I'm so pysched. Maybe ill use it and try to make a set to send in. Ill try at least, but I know I won't be able to get anything as good as someone else could. Self portraits takes up a shit ton of time and you're also kind of limited when it... Read More
You could watch a movie. Or listen to some music. Go buy or steal a new movie or some new music. You could read a book. You could fly a kite. If it's snowing out, you could make a snow angel, or peg someone with a snowball. You could start a fire. You could piss a fire out. You could make hot chocolate. You could drink it. You could practice origami, you could make zombie sound effects or do tai chi. Why be bored when there's so many other things you could do?
So I'm sitting in this coffee shop in Monument, Colorado waiting for the photo guy to come back from his lunch break at the grocery store next door so that I can pick up my photos.
Thank god for sidekicks (the phone, I have no need for super hero sidekicks. I'm too badass for that.) otherwise I'd be bored off my ass sitting here. Childrens... Read More
Hi...Thanks so much for your kind words of encouragement. I'm finding that I actually know a fair number of people. They are all just aquaintences, though, vs real friends. It's hard in theatre, cause you spend so much time working that it's hard to get out. And the people you meet are here only for a short time, a few months, then everyone goes their seperate ways. I just need to meet some quality people, really. It's hard to tell in this business if people are nice to you because they want something, or they're actually nice. Just gets a little hard to handle, sometimes. Especially since I'm the kind of person that knows a lot of people generally, but keeps only a few people close.
But, as you so perfectly said it above, the city can be my salvation. I really do like it here, especially after spending Thanksgiving in backwoods Connecticut. I find myself looking forward to winter, too!
Hope you had a great Holiday weekend, and thanks again!
