today i got to witness an xmas miracle. my mother is a speech therapist for a 12 year old child who's been essentially non responsive since he was a baby stemming from a reaction to a vaccination cocktail, and he lives in a ventilator. he had pneumonia last month and the outlook wasn't great. he made a miraculous recovery, and a group of local police and firemen brought Santa to his house for his first ever visit with the big guy. if things had gone worse last month his family wouldn't have had any pictures of their son with santa. now they not only have pictures, but a video on youtube that i made which is at over 50 views in the first two hours. i'm in no way sentimental (or so i try to appear) and im i don't even celebrate christmas, to us jewish kids that's the ultimate "sour grapes" holiday, but i got a tickle in my throat, even now....whatever, it was really special and it's not something i should be alive to be part of either, but 2015 has been full of miracles that most people won't ever know about :(
