Getting Political:
This morning during my hours of surfing I came across a website dedicated to discussing issues with the federal government and communications laws that had an area where you can write in to your congressman and senators about these issues, sending form messages saying "I support this" or "I am against that". A) I am reveling in our modern day democracy where our voice can be heard so easily by those in a position of power, like no other time in our history. B) I am glad there venues like this being run by the public, its good to see that the internet is more than a house of porn, sex, and other debauchery. C) finally, I am thankful for being able to speak by voice. I filled out 3 of those petitions on issues like government control over free media and internet neutrality. Ok....Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure just started on one of the HBO's.........so thats where i'll be for the next 2 hours....THE FUTURE!

thats all well and good but I don't think the government actually pays attention to those things. They are just there to make people feel like the government is listening, when in actuality, its not. If the government actually listened to the people I think the country would be in better shape.
