Here goes Blog number one, i realise nobodys reading this but i've got words on my fingers and i figured i'd get rid of them.

"This is real music" Prince made this statement several times during his show last night and he couldn't have been more right.I've seen some amazing bands perform live in my time (David Bowie, Blondie, Fleetwood Mac, Creedence Clearwater, Roger Waters-Pink Floyd, The Cure, Simon and Garfunkel, George Michael, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica) and he most certainly has earnt his position as equal best performance i've ever seen.
Did he hit every note perfect and every song perfection?Not quite,but pretty damn close.What he does do that puts him top of this elite live list is charm,charisma, showmanship and sheer talent.Every second of the 3.5 hour show felt like a party, for a man who's been doing this for over 30 years he looked like he was enjoying every minute up on stage.There was one moment during "when doves cry" where Prince got just the crowd to sing the verse "Touch if u will my stomach Feel how it trembles inside You've got the butterflies all tied up Don't make me chase you Even doves have pride" and it sounded like a choir singing, it was absolutely beautiful, enough to give you goosebumps.
Its hard to imagine a man of 5'5(thats with his high heels on) being able to captivate the almost 20 000 fans for such a length of time."This is real music" yes it is Prince but unfortunately in this day and age you're a dying breed.
