So I thought my last blog was a "rare update".

"I haven't been around here much lately." I never thought I would end up being the one posting that, but here I am doing it. So what have I been up to for eight months? Well I have been here, but I have mainly zipped in for a few clicks around and then left. It's not because I don't love the site, or love the people, I really do. It has been that I also love my offline life, and it has kept me away from the computer a lot.

I don't know if I will be at Gala this year, but I am so tempted! Mad Men theme? Awesome venue? I am so tempted. I just feel kind of bad that I have been so inactive here! I need to check and see if my usual hot date is willing to come with me.

So what has kept me away?

Well I took an insane amount of classes this year- like the amount an average person does in two years, in one year, including my honors thesis for my undergrad. It was nuts. I am glad I did it, but I don't think I could handle doing the same thing again. I literally did half of my degree in the span of a year.

My business making wedding invitations got a boost and was featured in a magazine! So I have been busy making those, trying to come out with some new designs, and I totally need to redo my website.

The other thing, and probably the most important thing. I realized I am a workaholic. So I have been making a conscious effort to balance things a lot more. That means sacrificing time on the computer for the health of my relationships IRL.

I love SG, I'm staying around for awhile and I miss everyone. I promise, this summer will bring more updates.
