I've reached the point with the magazine that, if all goes well, it should go to print in the next week or so. Hurah! I just found out they want to tease my story on the cover as well which is cool.
I know I am going to have issues because my advisors want the super crammed action packed sport magazine. Personally I hate that look. I like action, I like movement, but I also like flow within a page. I guess you could call me more arty. I hate super congestion in magazines, I hate them being too sparse too, but I feel like I am being pushed in the direction of crammed sports look and I hate it, and I am fighting tooth and nail.
Today I spent an hour fixing broken images in the InDesign document because people were too stupid to correct them when they moved things around while I was away from school.
Yeah- I love it when people mess with shit when they don't know how to use the program, and don't know where I keep things.
Seriously. Art Directors need lots of coffee man. I don't blame courtneyriot for needing Red Bull while she worked on the SG magazine.
