I was fallowing another fixie down market in a bit of traffic and the car in front of use slams on its brakes, this started a bit of chaos. The guy in front goes right towards the curb and back peddles slowing pretty quickly so I chose the left around the car. I make it around the car and have to cut right again to avoid getting the rail of the tram. The front wheel makes it fine but the rear skids just that bit catching the rail and it sends me in a 180 after a slam to the earth. My mustache bars saved the bike. The lever got a little shaved and the pedal too but she came out pretty untouched. I on the other hand have a nasty raspberry and a gash on my ankle. I have brakes on my fixie and it did nothing to save me.
