Hello, Yorkie here. Just to let you know that yes I'm still out here and no I'm not dead. Had a fantastic weekend in London - will tell more in the next journal entry as four hours' sleep last night is currently playing havoc with my head. A big slice of Yorkshire pie though to anyone who I chatted do, drank with or gibbered drunkenly at - it was great to see everyone again and make some new friends as well (requests in the post).

Tomorrow I'm off to Northumberland for the rest of the week - given the whole "losing job and girlfriend on the same day" experience of Friday, I need a few days out of Dodge - although this break-up was a lot more civilised than most of the ones I've gone through (to cut a long story short she's found out her ex wants to get back with her and doesn't want to string me along - as such we're going back to being "just friends" as we were before) it still hurts. Also the lack of income means I could probably do with going somewhere free of financial temptation.
