Strange old weekend... 
Was dreading doing a shift on Saturday morning but as it turned out it wasn't bad as I got more sales than I had for the rest of the week combined! Looks like I may be in line for a bonus at the end of the month after all...
Spent the afternoon down the record exchange getting rid of old CD's and picking up a couple of new 'uns - managed to get Iron Maiden's "Brave New World" in exchange for a bunch of old singles which I never listen to anymore anyway. So pretty good really.
Also had the rare pleasure of cleaning out a fruit machine on Saturday night which led to much extra beer being consumed and many random conversations with people in pubs including a couple of girls who I've not seen since I left the old comprehensive some ten years ago. They seemed rather freaked out that my accent has comprehensively done a runner up the A19 since then. Well, I guess if you spend three years at Uni living with a pair of human chemical dustbins from Sunderland it does take its toll a bit...
Today have been burning a CD compilation for a girl I'm mates with who's asked me to put some punk stuff together for her. End result (based loosely on the "Burning Ambitions" compilation of olden days) reads summat like this:

Only just got Brave New World? It's a quality album, really brough Maiden back to form.
You going to see Terrorvision? Thursday night for me, really looking forward to it, should be fun.
