So it wasn't such a bad weekend really. As mentioned in the previous entry, Friday night was fun and as it turned out Saturday wasn't so bad either.
Spent the day up on Teesside with my dad watching the mighty Pools put in one of their best performances for a long while to demolish Swindon 3-0. Then spent the night watching Abrasive Wheels at the Well who were surprisingly good although I'm not sure just how many of the original line-up are still in the band - more than one of 'em looked suspiciously young for a bloke in an an early '80s punk group.
Today is a rest day before I have the joy of two gigs in as many days - tomorrow am off to see the Buzzcocks at Leeds Met then am going to see the Glitterati play at the Cockpit on Tuesday. And that is pretty much my week's entertainment as I'm almost certainly gonna have no money left by Wednesday with payday still nearly three weeks away. Bloody bank holidays...
So I've spent the day sorting out a punk compilation for my mate (I'd post the tracklisting here but there's 4 CD's worth of the bugger!
), checking out possible places to move the agency website to as apparently it's currently crawling with spyware and later this evening I shall be engaging in some B-movie babylon thanks to a few cheapo purchases I picked up from HMV on Friday (lots of very bad action and horror B-movies basically). It should be good.
