'Ey up everyone and thanks for all the nice Christmas messages.

Just a v v quick update as I'm currently taking advantage of my time off by doing some serious website updating.

Had a great Christmas - spent Xmas Eve getting royally trashed with my mate at Rio's watching Dogs D'Amour who, rest assured, still kick ass all these years on. Definite highlight of the night for me was meeting one of my all time heroes Danny McCormack, former Wildhearts bass player who's now in the Dogs. Has to be said, the guy is a thoroughly nice bloke even though I was pretty much in non-stop gibber mode for the whole of our convo!

Spent Christmas Day back up in my old Teesside homeland as I went up to Yarm (nr Middlesbrough) with my mum and sister to visit my auntie and uncle on my mum's side. Also met my little niece-in-law (my cousin's daughter who's about 6 months old now) for the first time and she's absolutely adorable (if a bit hyperactive - I think it must run in the family!!)

Today will be spent updating the website, watching videos, eating wine gums and playing on the Gamecube...I love days off me!!!
