It's weird how life has its little ways of whacking you on the head when you least expect it. An hour ago I was just getting ready to go to the Leeds meet when the phone rang. It was one of my mates asking if I fancied joining them at the Beer Festival in Otley tonight. I did agonise over the decision for a bit but have decided to go for the Beer Festival for the following reasons:

1) The weather outside is seriously fucking cold and I don't much fancy having to rely on the incredibly shite bus service back out of Leeds either late this evening or early tomorrow morning.

2) I've not seen the guys I'm supposed to be drinking with for quite a while now and it'll be nice to catch up with them.

3) Beer festival. Need I say more.

So a very big sorry to anyone I was supposed to be seeing tonight - I do feel like an absolute cunt for backing out this late in the day not least because it's the second time I've done this. I promise I'll do my best to make it to the next meet...
