Do you know my name before you tear me apart?
Do you care who I am?
Boo Radleys - "Rodney King (Song For Lenny Bruce)" (1993)
An hour ago I had nothing to say. So I sat back, got those reviews written and had a hunt through my CD collection and found my dusty old copy of "Giant Steps" by the Boo Radleys.
Frickin' 'ell, I'd forgotten just how much I used to love that album. And it still sounds great now. "Wish I Was Skinny", "Thinking Of Ways", "Lazarus", "Leaves And Sand", "Upon 9th And Fairchild"...there are just so many amazing songs on there...
In fact, all you lot do yourselves a favour if you're bored tonight - take five minutes out, dig into the furthest recesses of your CD collection, find something that makes you say "Jeez, I've not listened to that for ages!", stick it on and redicscover how much you used to love it. And, if you do this, tell me what it was you found.
Laters,
Yorkie
