Yorkie's Slow Journey Out Of The Well Of Despond (part 1)
Have had a good long read of the last entry while listening to the Adicts to cheer me up and decided on the following:
- At least the buses have been a bit better the last two days. Not having a car still sucks though.
- Gonna go look at some house prices round Otley at the weekend and get my arse into gear on the househunting front now that payday is pretty much imminent. Although it means staying out in the sticks at least it keeps me away from the "Sheriff Fatman" type sharks who infest the waters around places like Headingley.
- Hopefully the lack of stuff that needs paying this month will see me through a bit easier than this one.
- If I put some money aside, I might yet get that record shop idea sorted next summer. A case of some planning needed I think.
- Finally, the one area I really think I am gonna have to swallow my pride and ask for some advice with: how do I chat this cute lass I've met at work up without making a total tool of myself. Bear in mind she works in a department on the other side of the building from me so me just going over there and talking to her is going to get people talking. Which isn't what I want. And seeing as the only reason people come walking through our department is to get to the toilet, that rules waiting for her to head my way out as well. Sigh...anyone got any ideas?

PS Oh yeah, if anybody's in or around Leeds Fenton next Monday (Sept 27th), come on in 'cos me and primate's agency are putting on a gig there! Three local hardcore thrash type bands for three quid - can't say fairer than that, can we?
PPS Should probably explain to anybody who's on primate's "Friends" list that the reason he's vanished from the site is that (a) his Internet connection's knackered and (b) he's just moved in with his girlfriend who, let's say, would probably take a bit of a dim view if she found out SG wasn't a "rock fans' website" as the two of us have told her. Hopefully he'll be back some time before hell freezes over.
