Once in a while, I get the pleasure of doing a journal update where I'm actually quite happy. Until this morning I was having a crap week - work has been as much fun as ever (ie it hasn't), I saw my country's team lose in possibly the worst manner ever on Sunday night (nicely rounded off by a group of dipshits in England shirts having a ruck with their Asian counterparts at the bus stop over the result), been suffering serious nicotine withdrawal symptons as a result of falling off the smoking bandwagon during the match and various other stuff.

But then this morning my mate rang me to say he's got a spare ticket for the Ash concert at the Uni tonight and do I fancy going? So...in half an hour I'm off to have a good fun headbanging session! Yay!

The rest of this week will be spent sorting things out for the next few Primitive Promotions gigs, going on a 22-stop pub crawl for my mate's 22nd birthday (my liver is protesting already ) and hopefully making a few steps towards getting things moving with the record shop. All things I could do with being wished luck on I think!!
