Bite your lip
Hold your tongue
Don't interrupt
I have begun
To sort this out
We'll make a plan
Tomorrow morning...
Don't sit down
Leave your coat on
We're going straight out
Leave the door open
We'll sort this out
And we'll make a plan
Tomorrow morning...
As he faded into old age
Conan Doyle believed in fairies
I fell in love on April Fool's Day
And now I've dug a hole so deep it scares me
Build a bridge
Come to bed
Don't make mileage from the stupid things we said
You wouldn't wanna see me beg
Tomorrow morning...
Like an abandoned zoo in wartime
I hold no high priority
If you have to shoot the animals around you
Then you might as well start with me
Is this real or fiction?
Is this my affliction?...
Bite your lip
Hold your tongue
Don't interrupt
I have begun
To sort this out
We'll make a plan
Tomorrow morning...
Chris T-T - "Tomorrow Morning" (2003)
Ever had one of those really frustrating days when you know you're feeling down but you can't for the life of you think why? Today seems to be being one of those days...
Maybe it's down to the post-Download blues (let's face it, when you've spent a weekend camping with UKSG's and meeting rockstars, drifting back to the boringness of council estate reality in north Leeds is always gonna be a bit of a bastard), maybe it's the fact that I'm back at work again tomorrow or maybe it's the fact that I was meant to be going to review a gig tonight but have decided not to as (a) I'm way too tired and (b) nearly everyone who was supposed to be going with me seems to be ill at the moment.
Ah well...the new job then. Or, to be more accurate, the old job. Basically, the guy who replaced me where I used to work has left already due to his dad dying. As such the company has invited me back for a few weeks on a higher wage than I was earning previously. Well, it's money I s'pose and it's unlikely I'll be there too long so I guess I shouldn't complain too much. At least over the week and a bit I've had off I've managed to garner a lot more info about getting the shop set up so hopefully things'll start moving along a bit quicker on that front.
And...at least some good news...I may be going for drinks with emogirl this weekend (see "Current Crush" on my profile) so at least something appears to be going right in my life.
Hope everyone's having a good week - speak to you all later.

Oh and PS before I forget, re the song at the top of here, if you've not heard Chris T-T's "London Is Sinking" album yet, do so asap - it's probably one of the best albums I've heard in the past year.
PPS Have done some minor scale friends list trimming - basically just the people who I've not spoken to in two months or more and haven't actually met in person. If you think you've been unjustly zotted, just let me know and I'll re-add ya.
