Groundhog Day: I woke up this morning to the alarm going off via the radio and a newscaster announcing that that damn groundhog came out, took one look around and went back under. That means another 6 weeks of Winter damnit!! I hate cold. My question though, is do they shock the little guy every year this day to make him come out in the first place?? Himmmm...

yeah, the weather has been psychotic this week. 80 on monday, now its fucking freezing.

You used to teach and sell light bulbs? Maybe I'll change my music education major to something else...like marketing or sales. You know, real-world applicable stuff.

And an angst novel is either one of those coming-of-age books (think Catcher in the Rye) and/or a book written from the perspective of someone really fucked up who eventually learns more about themselves during the course of the book (think Fight Club). Such novels are great for fortune cookie-type one-liners like "Nothing of me is original; I am the combined effort of everyone I've ever known" or "It's easy to cry when you realize that everyone you love will reject you or die." All of this was probably more than you really wanted to know, though.

I like those lyrics a lot...I can relate to them at the moment.
