I Just got back from a show. Friends band, playing at local club with horrible sound. Not to mention awful jam band opening for friends band. God help me I hate jam bands.

My roomate was friends with a kid that was on the news this week. He was on the news b/c he was killed walking on 1st street near the beach. A guy in a Jeep going 100mph in a 30mph zone hit him as he was trying to cross the street. I didn't know him at all but my roomate is all tore up. I didn't know what to say. Life is really strange sometimes.

shit. i didnt even know about the show. maybe next time. it sucks, as i've been meaning to email dennie for a while. i hope things get better for your roommate. i wouldnt know how to respond to something like that either.

Shit, yeah, I go to Berkeley! Strange, I don't know that many people from the northeast who would actually want to go to Cali. I mean, they might say they do, but really, do they? Well, I'm finally thinking maybe yes, they should. Never had a desire to visit before, now I don't want to leave! It took SOOO long to get over leaving Boston, though... already got tickets to the Red Sox / A's game in September (here, in Oakland).
So, your current crush thing has changed... how are things with the lady? Still doing the long distance thing? Man, is that hard!
