I spent most of the day up in Portland and got to visit a cousin of mine who I haven't seen in years. We went to The Tin Shed and I had some hella good mac & cheese there. Unfortunately my cousin was sick so it was a shorter visit than I would have liked. It was good to see her either way.

She lent me a bunch of movies, many of which I have not seen. For example, I started one called "Fishing with John". To explain it simply, it's this dude named John who goes fishing with various people including Tom Waits, Willem Dafoe, etc. Pretty amusing, despite how boring fishing can be sometimes.

But for now, I caved and am getting my [adult swim] fix.

Off to work tomorrow. I'm not thrilled, as my boss will be gone for two weeks and I will be stuck doing twice the work as a result. They should pay me double when she's on vacation. Oh well.
