home is a love hate relationship for me. i'm not here a lot. but it always seems i'm ready to come home as soon as i leave for tour...then when i get here, i never want to stay. i need to work on that.

i quit smoking. i also increased my drinking....we'll see how that goes.

considering i'm rarely there, i think this is pretty impressive. in the span of 2 weeks, i've played drums for 3 different bands in athens....i think that makes me the city's most successful session drummer. and my gimmick is to not play with them for more than 25 minutes prior to the show, keep things interesting.

filling in with these bands makes me miss making music. i'm think i'm going to put out an album....but i want a girl singing with me and a horn section. it has to sound huge. i'm getting sick of this quiet sparcely orchestrated stuff everyone has been doing. give me an orchestra...i want indie rock sinatra-esque orchestrations. let's make something fresh, new, and good. i don't know.
