actionandaction

so it's been a bit. i haven't really had much to say the past few days. but last night changed all that. so i was in bakersfield,ca last night for a show and we had some fun afterwards. me and my buddy mike (the gentleman with the beard that many of you mistook me for) were hanging out after the show and the stella was flowing.....per usual. but the venue had left there forklift outside after we were done loading and everyone but the touring crew had left. it was just sitting there....calling us. so we hopped on. did some donuts,burnouts, you know...the usual forklift stuff. but that wasn't enough for us on that fateful night. we needed to really cruise. moments later and a case of stella in tow, we set out on the open road destined for glory. 4 miles down the road in our golden carriage which can also lift things, we come a cross a Love's truckstop. we pulled in and parked in our respective parking space and ventured inside. a few moments pass and we emerge with matching patriotic bandanas (these things were awesome, a super angry eagle draped in an american flag, swooping down on the entire country of iraq.....amazing) we hop back into out brand new whip, with our new duds, and head a little further down the road to a pretty shady looking Del Taco. we pull into the drive thru, place our $60 order and pull up to the window. the staff was laughing their asses off. so we paid them. and then upon delivery of our food, i backed the fork up just a bit and raised said forks so they were able to put the food on them, and with a honk of the horn we sped off into the deserted darkness. we return back to the gig, food on the forks, gods among men, bearing delicious (this adjective isn't really spot on, it actually was awful, but delicious sounded better) mexican food for all. we were heroes. and drunk.

so i realize that was really long, but i thought some of you may get a kick out of it...thus making it worth it. other than that, not much. i'm done with jamie foxx may 9th and then i'm heading out for the summer. The Fray, OKgo, Eisley, Mae, Gomez....i'm looking forward to eisley. so check out the dates and maybe we can hang out. take it sleazy kids.
