actionandaction

so being in philadelphia, my plan for the day was to venture out to the art museum, check out some sweet art and of course get my picture atop the Rocky steps. so there i am, towering over philly, high above the streets where a couple of guys are up to no good and starting to cause trouble in my neighborhood. just moments before i got in one little fight and my mom got scared and told me that i was moving in with auntie and uncle in bel-air...i'm posing for a splendid picture, Rocky pose to the maxx of course, and lo and behold my camera batteries die. so trying not to look like too big of an ass, i un-pose and pull the old trick of switching the batteries around. i'm a tech savvy dude, the world tech is in my job title, i know full well that this will do nothing. but i try anyway and re-pose. nothing. feeling so defeated i opt not to explore the museum and walk back to the hotel a broken man, freezing and with galaxie 500 rocking in my ears.

seeing as how the plan for today's post as well as a collection of stunningly awesome photos has been foiled, i plan to venture out again tomorrow, fresh batteries in hand.

in other news, i'm dieing of boredom. i'm quite sick of sitting in this hotel room. i've already explored south street in all of it's record store and tattoo shop covered glory to the core. bummed because i had plans for tattooing, turns out that can't fit me in. however, there was some success to this extended philly stay. much vinyl was acquired. so i've got that to keep me warm.
