meanwhile, back at the ranch..
Im home sick. Except the cool thing is: Im not sick. Now dont go thinking Im some kind of a conniver; I was stuck at work all day yesterday when I was truly sick as hell and today I am not feeling all that well.
(by the way, conniving actually means something akin to turning a blind eye to something so it is slightly misused here; I was thinking it came from the word knave, trickster/cheater, but thats not the case. since I am such an incredibly poor speller it took me forever to find the correct spelling and meaning fortunately for me the internet is full of poor spellers and thus I was eventually able to figure it out)
So today will consist of toast, tea, coffee (a little later), music, woodstove, reading, a few hours of The Longest Journey (a game I love to look at but am so sick of the absolute failure in the logic used in its puzzles), chocolate, napping on the sofa, sitting in the garden (not too long outside; its cold here), and finally I will look through some of my pictures to find the ones I want to get prints made of.
Speaking of pictures: Siv! She has posted yet more amazing pictures. If you want testimonials or Siv compliments just view the list of comments on her page, there are plenty there. I will only say that she should really be doing something with all that talent. I personally want to see Sivs work either on/in Vogue or in SFMOMA. I have no doubt that as she becomes more accomplished in her work she could reach that level. Problem: I believe that one part of her talent comes from an outside source (so long as this continues to work for her great but if you need someone else it is your Achilles heel [this opinion of mine may have something to do with my loner character trait
]). I will give you one very poignant example before I close: David Spade/Chris Farley.
Anyway, alls well at this moment and while the future holds unlimited promise as well as threat nothing touches us right now.
