Yeah, the new Winamp does take a time to load. I'm willing to put up with it though... at least so far. But if you browse to http://www.oldversion.com you can get a bunch of the old versions (surprise) of Winamp. I downloaded version 2.95 because that Audioscrobbler site said something about its plugin being compatible with that version. But it didn't work. Ah well.

Doing a CD swap with metafilter. I make really shitty mixes, but I like getting new music, so it really works to my benefit. It looks a little something like this. Since these are total strangers, I favored the (relatively) more obscure. Should start getting CDs in a few weeks. Nice.
