Teaching went from bad (tuesday) to not bad (today). Tomorrow should be a kicker, what with it being friday and all. Either way, it's going to be a pretty long year. I'll be a little happier when the state works out their problems in regards to my level of education and I start getting paid what I'm supposed to be. Half assing my lesson plans and such this week isn't helping any, but I'll actually start writing next week's, so things might be a little better.
Dog busted loose while I was gone (for 3 hours!) and ate up a bunch of my carpet. Lame. Also have no air conditioning in my car which - in Memphis - fucking blows. I've also been spending money like a motherfucker. And I'm ALSO going to have a little bit of a tiny famine happening this month. Left my last job, which means no more pay checks (cept the one I need to pick up), but my first paycheck from the school is only for FOUR DAYS, and they pay SEMI-MONTHLY. ouch.
OH, yeah, the torrent site is still kicking my ass. Just recently, I've started thinking The Robocop Kraus, Absynthe Minded (the ones who did the New Day album, not the other ones), The Elected, The Helio Sequence, Frausdots, and Rogue Wave are fucking awesome, and one or two I'll probably throw myself really into. I've only found an EP of Jenniferever, but I'd LOVE to find more. Some other bands (All Night Radio), I've grown fond of, but have no chance of becoming obsessed with.
I wasn't kidding, this site makes me super
. It makes me want to take a good, long road trip so I can *really* get into it, but the MP3 player in my car is acting wonky and it turns out that the soonest road trip weekend (Labor Day) I'm actually busy - cos my best friend is coming into town. 
SInce I normally have to bug the shit to get him to come down, it blew me away. I can hardly wait!
Oh, and you may not be able to trust my recommendations in music, but my taste in TV shows is flawless. That being said, Weeds (on sho) is quality stuff. Watched some last night, left wanting more.
