First contact went not as well as I'd have hoped. They had me at a disadvantage. . . it's odd that the first days are the most important for building stability and are also the most absolutely fucked up and out of control.

Oh, been sort of busy, so less able to keep up with SGland - particularly the fast moving parts of it. When I get that first paycheck and sweet, sweet insurance, I'll know it's all worth it.
In sort of good news: Thanks to a couple of happy accidents, I've uncovered a cache of new bands for me to like.
