So, I got a job today. Small (<400 kids) inner city school, teaching multiple subjects (History, English, Govenment). Pretty exciting stuff.
Still, kind of sad. Hear some bad news about a friend of mine, and it's got me in kind of a funk. Reminds me of a something that happened a while ago, with the same friend, actually. Got some bad news and had a total melt down. I find it strange that - for the most part - if I'm involved in a gruesome personal trainwreck, I can walk away almost unphased. No erratic behavior or anything, just a few weeks of being somewhat lowkey, but even relatively minor stuff happening to friends makes me unreasonably upset.
This is the saddest happy day, or the happiest sad day, I've had in awhile.
