Had an interview yesterday morning for a job I'm reasonably sure I did not get. They were looking to hire immedately, and I was told I'd get a call by the end of the day and I did not. I assume that means one of the other 2 candidates got it. Not surprising, it was for my weak subject (English).
If I ever get the chance to interview for a history position, I get to walk in with the knowledge that I'll get the job. I'm almost certainly the best, most educated, and most competent person in the applicant pool (even for n=1000).
English, not so much, and those are the only calls I get.
