Finished Spring Snow. It was. . . not good. It wasn't bad, but I can't really see why it is one of the masterpieces of modern Japanese literature. Since i've already (sort of) gone into why I didn't like it on Shishuu, I will refrain. Going to start on The Dragon Scroll next, a book given to me by a friend who got it as a bookseller copy. It'll probably be way more enjoyable.
In other news, Dead Like Me puts me as close to crying as I have been in some time. The amount I love that show defies all logic and reason. It's so funny and close to home, I cannot help but adore it. I just wish more episodes would come on SHOOD, I can't afford the DVDs.
Started reading Chapter One. It reads better than I thought it would, and I'm pretty pleased with what I was doing all those years ago. I expect it all to fall apart around chapter 10, when the full load of chems were coursing through me. It's probably incomprehensible.
Apartment is fixed! Dishwasher runs. Now I just have to start cleaning up.
