My ex, of late an SG member, told me about some get together for her going away last night. I decided to spend my 4 day weekend finishing my novel (which I started while we were together) and give it to her as a going away gift. She seemed to apprecate it, and I must admit it feels pretty good to have the thing done. [If my apartment wasn't almost unliveable, I'd be downright giddy] The book is entirely too long (595 manu pages, 140k words).
I'm not entirely happy with the ending, though I am quite happy with the climax scene. Despite the stuff I'm disappointed in, all night I would just think about having it done and smile.
Just like now.
