I was absolutely despondant yesterday. Waking up and finding out I'm clearly living in a nation that is out of it's fucking mind put me in a funk. It sort of heightened all the other shit I was upset about : Annoying crush, Really Annoying Computer Issues, Super Annoying School Stuff.

It only went downhill. Went to Best Buy service center to pick up my machine, and they told me "It's either the processor or mobo, we don't know which." Thanks a lot, mother fucker, I could have told you that three days and sixty five dollars ago. After that, my dog shit on the floor and I had to go to the most pointless class ever.

I took a nap, which made me feel a little less So Angry I Want To Vomit and more Generally Depressed.

Last night, though, I finished my Minimus Opus. My first "real" short story in a long time, and I'm surprisingly happy with it. I've decided to add "Get Published in McSweeney's Quarterly" to my list of lifelong ambitions.

Going to see Motorcycle Diaries with crush person tonight. She was hard selling some other movie. Either she thinks that I hate all movies without aliens and explosions, or she doesn't want me to see her cry at some movie. Meh.
