This weekend was the first of four weekend destroying classes. The professor only disliked me before, but now she *hates* me. It's easy to get through 3 hours of someone you don't like, but 7 or 8? The professor and I were snapping at each other all through the class. Urgh.

Went to see Coffee and Cigarettes. I like Jim Jaramusch alright - the only other thing I've seen by him is Ghost Dog. (Of course, for a guy who graduated film school in 75, he has a small small filmography) From what I've seen, all of his movies have a slow (the kind might say "mellow") pace to them. Still, there were a few shorts in C&C that made it worthwhile, and the short with RZA, GZA and Bill Murray was worth the price of admission all by itself. Fucking brilliant.

Started playing Fantasy Football. Also, in a happy turn of events, my social life is starting to get out of hand. I have a few other tangential coteries, including current crush, once and future crush, and guy from class. Not enough hours in the day.

Currently reading an anthology of horror stories that came out in 1999. Hit-or-miss stuff, really. Anyway, I've been thinking about getting back to my short story roots, doubly so since I stumbled across a horror anthology in the works that's currently accepting submissions. Sadly, the No-So-Great-American-Novel is running the show in the writing department.

Oh, finally, I got the most monster cable package ever, along with DVR. Quite good, and if anyone gets Trio, I recommend finding out when Pilot Season is on and watching it. Genius in a bottle, that is.
