Ex-girlfriend is being obnoxiously evasive about money. My ex-best friend encouraged me to stay on her ass about it, because (according to him) the only time he borrowed money from her she was ruthless about getting it back. (Strikes me as odd considering he paid rent on their place together, etc.)
Dealing with Exes is absolutely the most fun thing to do in the world. I can hardly wait until my next poorly thought out romantic adventure.
In other news, Angel Season Five is stellar. Forgot I had it for a long time, then started watching it yesterday. Got through 4 or 5 episodes.
Falling a bit under the weather, so it turns out. I should have seen this coming, since I *always* get sick right before I go out of town. I can only assume I'm going to get dysentery before the SGTN trip. (although the safe bet is that dysentery won't come until *after*)
Feeling sort of odd about meeting a whole bunch of strangers, but not for the reasons one might expect. The whole meeting people online thing is no biggy - all of my friends in high school and junior high came from the BBSes. No, it's more strange because I'm under the impression that everyone [except me] will at least kind of know a couple of people. Of course, I expect the booze will help with that. Also, I hope it doesn't rain.
Dog made me quite angry today. Took him outside for an unusually long period. He just fucked around and spent most of his time staring at the lawn next to mine. After I took him in, he waited until I left the room and immedately took a shit on the floor. I caught him in the act, mostly, so I at least got some useful negative reinforcement in. I have no idea what's causing him to do this shit, but it's super obnoxious.
Need to clean the house today. I sort of have a crush on the girl housesitting for me (gee, surprise), and I'd hate to turn over a nasty apartment for three days.
Strange that ideas are constantly coming to me, and I'm taking more notes than ever, but I never seem to want to actually *write*. Maybe soon.
