Birthday party last night. Realtively small and intimate. I can't tell if I'm spelling right or not, because I am pretty hung over. I am going to eat some sushi in a minute and continue to do my part of the cleaning. G last night she would clean everything up as a birthday present, but then drank with her antibiotics and is still in bed paying the price for ignoring warning labels.

Thinks are well. Working on a new ending to "Uncanney Valley" that should be the last major overhaul before the final tweaks and . . . I spend a month or two wondering what my next project is going to be. I was going to write history of campaign finance, but realize I wasn't willing to commit myself to that sort of deadline (Finish by August) or workload (considerable). It will be left to better people than me, but I think in light of (1) the tremendous corporate/Lobbist/political corruption that is caused by (2) very, very, very expensive campaigns, it'll be important to look at. In the current system, the problems mentioned above are inevitable.

Also important because the single largest fiction is the "congress has always been corrupt" meme. Anyway, better men than me. Probably do something fantasy instead.
