So, Mattstravaganza went well on Sunday. About three dozen people showed up. House was trashed, but nothing stolen. All the beer got drank, but I ended up +2 bottles of quality Irish Whisky. Also ended up with about 6 cases of soda. (I don't drink soda.)

Still in the middle of cleanup, since I basically sacrificed monday and tuesday to the gods. Monday, saw Superman Returns, skipped a party (that I hear sucked), and played Harvest Moon. Yesterday I just played Harvest Moon, read Preacher, and ate junkfood. Not my most constructive day, but . . . well, no buts, that's just a straight up fact.

Not everything is stellar, though. My DVD-R just gave up the ghost. So, thanks to some mystic flaw that has be still booting from CD, I can't get on my PC. Which means I cannot charge my iPod.* This throws my whole world into chaos.

Shit, only a month or so before I have to go back to work. Stupid, week long seminar I got to do before that. Not that I thought it'd turn out any other way, but I'm a little disappointed in myself - no novel, no finished shortstory, nothing. Typical.

*Not *exactly* true. I could plug it up to my iBook.

I think the bad vibe thing has to do with something more sinister than the new design, actually. I think I'm seeing the general malaise of society rearing its ugly head here.
