yep $600 for a bedroom in someone's house. Well, private bedroom, private bathroom, my own laundry room. In a gorgeous house in a beautiful quiet neighborhood.

I mean there are places asking for much less, one of the cheapest I saw was $325 but I didn't hear back.

I have a lead on another $600 place. She was originally asking $800 but when I told her that was out of my price range she said she'd take $600.

Single apartments in this area go for around $1000 a month.

I'm about the same in regards to the beach. I actually like it for the shops and places to eat... and the arcades of course And the crashing waves, the calling seagulls... it's a calming atmosphere.
