Excellent to know things are going good at school. I briefly tried teaching here in the UK but it wasn't for me. Too many people have no idea just how difficult a job it is and too few parents give schools and teachers the backing that they deserve. Good luck with the rambling old man!!

i haven't determined my mood for today yet. being that it's 8:20, i probably won't at all. so i'm borderline. it could go either way. but i think i'm basically good.

woke up early, hungover, for work. it took a really, really long time today for me to stop feeling like shit. it's mostly over now, but still.

I'm so sorry about your sad day. I seem to have lots of those lately...maybe I need to take up drinking...to balance things out as you say! Working out in general seems to be really difficult for me to get back into....perhaps all the snow here is getting in the way of my motivation. Usually I am just happy lying around with some warm blankies and hot tea. I have decided though that this week I am going to try to get back with a routine and stick to it. I'm sure you will do great with the kids!

Well.. I mean. I don't know. I don't know if it's good or bad. Or either, really. It's just the way I am. I'm not going to be ashamed of it or anything. I like to think that I'm assertive and strong in my stances, but without being threatening. I hate confrontations. So when they pop up, I'll use hurricane force or whatever necessary just to end it. Despite the outcome.. cut my losses.. done is done, and don't give a damn.

The basic idea is that I can be nice to you or good or whatever just for the sake of being good legitimately, and knowing that for myself and being at peace with it - not because I give a shit if you think it's good or not. That's a weird thing to say and I'm not sure it came out right, but I know what I mean. Maybe it is balls to the wall. I don't know. But thanks for the comment.
