Well I'm about as pissed of as I can be with an ISP. Since I changed to Demon a few months ago, the service at peak times has been dire. It is usually as slow as a dial up modem (56k) when it should be 2 meg (2048k). After all of the moaning, the technical support have said it is probablly a neighbour switching on a high voltage appliance during peak times that makes me connection run like a dog with only 1 leg that is full or arthiritis. So I say to anyone in the UK, AVOID DEMON INTERNET SERVICES AS IF THEY WERE A BEARDED MAN AT A FESTIVAL OFFERING A SPECIAL KIND OF LOVE, THE KIND OF LOVE THAT COMES WITH A GUARANTEE THAT IT WILL NEED TRATING WITH STRONG ANTIBIOTICS AND TOPICAL CREAMS.
