Works good, but being at work sucks. I want a job that starts abut mid morning and ends early evening. They'd be my ideal hours. 7 in the morning? I'm still fucking dreaming about Most Haunted being filmed a house I've built out of all the houses I know.
I seriously spent 7 1/2 hours last night dreaming about ghosts and the lives of. I kept waking up every half an hour to check the time.
Set the scene. It's a big aircraft hanger style building. You slide open one of the 20ft high doors. Inside the floor is wooden boards. A big expanse in the middle of the room. Sort of balconies along the sides at the top, but with no railings. Every so often there are the remains of wooden ladders going to the balcony type things up above.
As I walk across the wooden floor it is all soft and sponge like, but the wood is bending with it as it is like very thick chipboard sat ontop of a rubber frame. It's scary walking across it as below it you can see a huge drop off the edge of a cliff and if you go too far onto the sponge bits you will fall through.
The light switch is over on the other side of the chamber and up on the balcony type things. There are a few old tractors parked around the building. The nearest ladder to me looks fairly sound and you manage to pull yourself up onto the upper balcony.
There are loads of weird carvings all over the upper balcony. They are like heiroglyphics, but don't look egyptian. A giant vine plant has grown around the light switch, and you can't see a thing in the giant chamber. There is a running sound, like the sound of grain being unloaded into a silo.
And that's about all I can remember from that. I like dreams that very real and mundane. I once had this really weird dream involving supermarkets and world war II. I was basically driving back and forth to supermarkets to find the people who had hidden there and I had to take them over the mud to this odd concrete place. Then another came and I hid in this drain. When they found me, I was about to get blown up and then I just woke up.
I do like dreams.
