Local newspaper. The most sensationalist publication ever. The whole front page was taken up with the word OUTRAGE and a picture of some black fella with a massive, massive afro. I thought, Hmmn, are they outraged at his hair? Maybe there's some paedophiles hiding in there. Perhaps there's some illegal immigramts in there. Maybe he grows drugs there, he is black after all, and as all readers of this paper know, all teenage black people are criminals.

Then later on I was speaking to my mate who's also as pissed off with the whole world as I am. It turns out that the story is, this person was jailed, and then upon release was considered for deportation. Because he came from Somalia, he was able to say that it would be too dangerous to return to his own country so was allowed to stay. He then was jailed again. The paper was 'outraged' because he hadn't been deported.

I saw a survery saying that people trusted the media more than government. I thought, 'the morons'. Then I thought, 'hang on, I just read that in the media, and I believed it.' I'm a moron.
