Well, as we all know, no good deed goes unpunished. So I'm heading home from work when my sister calls me, begging for a ride. Being the generous big brother I am I agree. After I pick up both of them and their little friend, we stop at a little gas station that leaves the pumps on for cc purchases. I'm sitting there filling up when these two guys walk up and say, and I quote,
"Got any spare change? As in all of it." ...
... Ok I have a pregnant 18 year old, a 17 year old and their little 14 year old friend in the car, and I know where this is leading. So I made a fast decision, I just laugh and tell them to fuck off, hoping they aren't locked in on this course of action. They tell me to reconsider, and then Punk 1 pulls out what I've always called a knuckle knife... one of those lock back knives that has brass knuckles for a handle. Punk 2 starts wrapping his hand in what looks like a fucking wallet chain. It's reasons like this I keep a metal bat in the back of the car. At this point they are still about 10 feet away, so I calmly reach my hand in the back window and point, Jess hands it to me, and I smile. 
Punk 2 apparently grows a few brain cells and backs down. Punk 1 however still wants to play. After dancing back and forth for few seconds he lunged at me. The stupid fucker trips over the gas hose and hits the deck. I move in, kick him square in the nose, hopefully I broke it, (anything worth fighting for is worth fighting dirty for, espc. family) then I pry the knife out of his hand and wait. He gets up bleeding, his friends runs to him and they decide that 2 vs. me sounded fair.
After it was all over I'll admit I took a few, but I gave way better than I got.
I don't know what all got hurt, but I know I have at least a few cracked ribs and several bruises.. On the bright side I know I broke P2's arm, and I know I broke a few of knife guys ribs. At least I won't have a black eye to wear to work.

I know I should feel bad about beating people until they beg but... FUCK'EM I despise fighting, but don't fuck with my family.

And what makes it worse, is that their little 14 year old friend, (who could pass for a very well built 18 year old)
has spent the last couple of hours looking at me in
hero worship and all but humping my leg. This is not good. I do still have a few morals. I admit, if she was 17 or 18 sure, but 14..... I mean come on. Hopefully she'll be over it tomorrow.

All in all its just another day. Some days are good, some are bad. And once in a great while some allow for wanton bloodshed, consequence free.
