NEW INK!!! Muwahahaha... ok.. I retract half the evil laugh.. since it isn't really done, I stopped in today and decided on devil and angel girl pinups to fill in the right arm, since they kinda balance out the Royo and iron butterfly, add in some misc background shading, and BOOM!!! it'll be a full on half sleeve.. for the most part.
I admit it. I wussed out... I didn't do them all tonight >.< they are both large and on the inside of my upper arm, dead inside, and inside to the rear.... the really tender parts. I think the fact that I hadn't slept last night played a part in my lowered pain tolerance.. but in the end, we got about half done.... both pieces lined, and one about 1/4 shaded. By that time though, the pain was kinda bad, but it was merging with the pain in my wrist from the awkward positioning and such... between the right wrist being twisted up and bent funny, and the left one simply making a fist, they were both throbbing so bad that even if I had finished out the good hour and a half we had left, my hands woulda been so bad I might notta been able to drive home.
*sighs* oh well. I shall go back on the 11th.. if it's healed enough, we shall finish, if not.... we shall finish after my surgery the following week. I shall TRY to get pics of the ink from the convention up soon. I've been waiting because of where they got scraped up when I fell off the chair and into the wall, one has a couple smallish spots that are scabbed, and the other has a couple of large places..... they are both gonna have to be touched up later, the one is scarring kinda bad, and the other is just lightened from the scars
