Well, in a week and change I shall be hopping yonder greyhound bus to take a little jaunt up to chicago to visit a friend... well.. meet, then visit I suppose, since I haven't actually met her yet.
It'll be a nice little 4 day vacation. Granted the last few months of workers comp, i.e. getting paid to loaf about the house and have the occasional hand surgery could be viewed as a vacation.... it isn't. I have a roommate I like as a person, but can't stand living with, but I can't get rid of either (family friend. . . ) and a house I pay rent on, but rarely stay at, soooo.. yeah, this will be a nice vacation. I wish I had the money to have Guy Aitchenson do some work on me while I was there.... but no such luck. He's rather pricey, worth it, but pricey still.
