Damn... waaay too many familiar questions in there for me. But, as you know, we've both come close to having those questions answered for us. For me, that was enough to make me realize that, just like the routine, repetition and pain, the answers to those questions don't really matter. Life is not waiting for something that never comes, as the author suggests. Rather, the key to enjoying life is searching for the experience in 'what if' and finding fulfillment even when it may be unpleasant. 'What' will happen 'if' I do this? Break the routine and revel in the consequences. Chaos isn't necessarily a bad thing. Life is little more than one big personal experiment and each of us determines our own results.
