My transition from anti-depressant meds to natural supplements has gone swimmingly, thank you very much. I have settled on 2 ginsengs and 2 St. John's per day, and I feel excellent. No more wet head, and the amazing dreams continue unabated. Thank you all for your encouraging words.

One side effect: I seem to have picked up a little temper, and I have to admit...

Happy to hear you are feeling great without your meds! I hope to eventually be in the same boat.

I think I've turned the corner in terms of my recovery from my surgery. Thanks for the well wishes kiss

So I decided to quit taking my anti-depressants. They just didn't seem to be making it anymore. Heeding advice from my friend Kristina, I have began taking Ginseng and St. John's Wort. My mood seems to have improved, but my head seems to be spinning with the lack of celexa and the addition of the natural supplements. This may sound crazy, but the inside of...

Let me know how it goes. I tried quitting my meds too, but have opted to gradually decrease my dosage over a really long period of time. I tried to get off before, but it was too difficult. frown

That is the exact reason I am terrified to stop taking my effexor xr. I have tried a couple of times and couldn't handle it. It's a terrible feeling and I only take 75 milligrams a day! I understand the wet head feeling. When I tried to do it the only way I could explain it was that my head felt like a balloon filled with jello and my brain in the middle. GUHH! I hear weaning yourself off is the best way but it didn't seem to make it any easier for me. Best of luck my freind. ALSO BIG PRODUCT ENDORSEMENT!!! Do yourself a huge favor and go to GNC and get yourself a bottle of Bach Rescue Remedy it's $10. Four drops under your tongue and a couple minutes later the freak outs go away. It's all natural no side effects. Here read up. This stuff is fucking amazing. My grandmother has been using it for years and passed it down to me. http://www.bachflower.com/rescue_remedy.htm

I have been on my deathbed the last few days. Asian Bird Flu, perhaps? Who the hell knows. Nyquil has saved me again, I believe the worm has turned and I will recover soon.

Happy Mother's Day.

Oh you're such a charming man Greggy! kiss

Well. If the winters are hard to sleep in, the summers are even worse. Not used yet. It's REALLY bright all the time, the brain doesn't get the "night" signal and keeps going... really. Every year the same thing. Oh well. I'm going to sleep now anyway.

Goodnight Greggy!

A man goes to a doctor. He says, "Doctor, I don't know if my wife has TB or VD." The doctor says, "Chase her around the bed. If she coughs, fuck her."
