I have a very tough time thinking of something worthwhile to write in this journal. Every day seems to just melt into another. Work will do that I guess. Well, I did something which was really wierd for me at work a little while ago... I hit up our HR department for a pay rise. To my surprise, I actually got what I asked for. Now, I'm not a high flyer, so my pay is still nothing fantastic, but a little more money does make life a little easier. What seemed like a dream only a little while ago can now become a reality for me... I want to get my own place (my flat mate is great... but I really like to have my space... I am a bit of a loner like that). It still may be a little while before I can totally realise this, but I plan to get a place somewhere between Newtown and Burwood (preferably closer to Newtown, but I'll settle for Burwood if the place is ok). I might even get another place in Summer Hill, because I do quite like this little town. Anyway, I'm gonna get a two bedroom place, and use the second room as a studio. My bedroom is currently my studio, and it is not only physically cramped in here, but it also seems to cramp my creativity. Trying to record in the same room which you sleep in is not very inspiring really. It sounds crazy, but having a studio in another room would breathe more life into my music I believe. Anyway, I am looking forward to moving out, even if it is a couple of months before I do so... I will do it though damn it!

We have been playing a lot of cards lately. Drunken draw poker. We are not going anywhere near strip poker, because we are all a bunch of ugly motherfuckers, and I don't want to scar the minds of my friends. It's pretty fun though. We manage to get pretty drunk and then when we are too drunk to continue the game, we head off to hit the pubs. If they'll let us in of course.
Here's a picture of us playing cards some time or other. We can still sit on our chairs, so I guess it must be early in the night.

This update is dedicated to Zak because she got bored already with my 2 minute noodles entry (I find that so hard to believe). Personally I thought that after that entry, I would never have to update my journal again, because it pretty much covered everything that is important in this world.
