Usually hurricanes are a pain in the ass, you hear about them for days and when they finally supposedly hit you get a little wind and rain and not much else or is so strong it tears your shit up and doesn't let you enjoy it.
Katrina on the other hand came with barely a day's warning, weak enough that I even had to go into work today, and yet here I am sitting in the eye of the hurricane enjoying the show. I wish all storms were like this.
Update: This was the tree that snapped in half while I was outside checking on my car. I heard the snap and hauled ass back, when I turned around it had fallen half on the parking lot half on the roof of the building.
Also interesting were the explosions going on at the transformers across the street.

And I have seen some other Bertolucci movies, thank you. Why do people always assume you haven't seen things if you don't specifically mention them?
