This has been a very educational month for me; I've learned a lot of things about people, about what people are capable of doing, about life itself. I've learned that no matter how hard you try, how much you give, how much you sacrifice, sometimes it's just not enough.

And yet, if I've learned anything at all, it's that I still don't understand people. I don't understand why they act the way they do, treat other people the way they do, even people they claim to care about. I just really honestly don't get people in general. I can't understand how someone can be just a genuinely good and decent and caring person, and still get shit on even by those closest to them. Honestly, it just furthers my belief that people, on the whole, seriously suck.

And no, my latest rants of misanthropy are not due to any single event.
